Board the beautiful "Cumberland Princess" from the Fernandina Harbour Marina for a relaxing cruise to an island time has forgotten. The Ferry will land at Dungeness Dock where you will begin a 2-mile walking tour starting at the Ice House Museum. You will see the ruins of Dungeness, a once beautiful 40-room mansion owned by Thomas and Lucy Carnegie. "Leaf laden bough of live oaks hunch over the path to the wide beach, forming a lacy green umbrella of unending shelter," so writes one magazine writer describing her experience on Cumberland Island.

This southernmost of Georgia’s barrier islands, is a showcase of natural beauty and exists in a relatively undisturbed state.
